.tiff files ARE image files, Tumblr. Get with the program. Grrr.
That moment when all you want is a decent picture of a dragon and Tumblr keeps giving you Benedict Cumberbatch. It feels very meta: our fandoms are getting in the way of our fandoms.
… is to try to guilt me into reblogging something.
"If you don’t reblog this you’re a horrible person!"
"I bet you’re the one of the many heartless monsters who won’t reblog this!"
These or anything similar are immediate turn-offs for a post’s reblog-ability. It’s like a knee-jerk reaction for me. It’s just like those annoying kids who passed chain letters around in middle school, and I’m not participating in it.
I successfully stayed away from Tumblr for two hours! Hooray!
Now to catch up on all the gifs I missed while I was gone.
My new favorite Tumblr. The Silmarillion + Texts From Last Night. Hilarity ensues, especially for Tolkien nerds. Also the blogger’s tags are the best tags ever.
Tumblr, this is why you are my favorite website.
When I reblog a post and add my personal thoughts to the text part of the post, they’re vanishing. The tags I’ve added to the post are saved, but not my additions to the main post. It’s very annoying. Is anyone else having this problem, or perhaps knows how to fix it? Thanks.
